Sam Boast wins the Youth A category at the ACT track league

During 2008 Sam Boast gained a total 94 points to win the Youth A (Under 16) category in the ACT track league on Monday nights at Manchester Velodrome. This is an excellent result against good riders from around the North West and Yorkshire, including competing against many Talent Team riders. Well done Sam.

In 2009, Sam is now taking part in the Friday night MRTL track league, and is already progressing upwards into the harder groups riding against some very good senior riders.

Road and Time Trial Session - Saturday 20th December 2008 11am - 2pm - Manchester Velodrome car park.

Cycle Sport Pendle riders have an invitation to ride the regular road and time trial session, organised by Eastlands Velo, and run by coaches (including LenW) from the Eastlands Velo club. Cost is £3 to non-Eastlands members.

There are a number of Eastlands club road bikes that are available to borrow for the session for a small charge. If you have your own bike, you should take it along with you, as loan bikes are in demand.

We often get 40 riders at these sessions, many fairly new to cycling. This is a really good opportunity for Cycle Sport Pendle riders.

Please contact Len Woffindin for details.
