Come and help CSP at the National Road Race Championships in Barley 26th and 27th June 2010

Next week sees CSP well represented at the National Road Race Championships and Pendle Bikefest in Barley. We will have a stand and Gazebo in the Bikefest 'Village' and we will be rubbing shoulders with our supporters 'HOPE' and others including Addids and others. We will have all the club bikes and Kit on show and a new flyer as been produced. We will also have new club (orange of course) polo shirts for helpers to wear. We also have the use of Sportcity rollers and Velodrome bikes for CSP riders and any visiting youngster who fancies a go.

We will also have specialist Cycling Photographer Rick Robson with us at various parts of the day snapping away and capturing CSP riders in action ect. And at 10.30 (ish) Wilko and Paul Oldham, and we hope Steve Burke and Simon will be on the stand too for photo opportunities.

At 3pm Peter will be live on air at BBC Lancashire to talk about CSP and youth development in general and in Pendle in particular, so all in all it's a big day and great opportunity to bang the drum about CSP.

Can you make it, Sat 26th.................. we would love as many CSP riders with kit and bike to make it along with parents. If you can stay a while and help man the stand then even better. We are proposing a led ride at 11am (ish) (to be confirmed)....... bring a picnic.

Can you make it, Sun 27th.................. Race day for the country's top riders, Ladies start 8.30 men 12.30 and roads to Barley will be closed from 7am so entrance to bike fest and the second day of CSP activity is strictly on foot or bike, again we need volunteers.

CSP to have a 10 minute slot at Colne Grand Prix - Wednesday 14th July 2010

We have a 10 minute slot just after the road closure .. time to be confirmed, but will be between 6:30 and 7pm.

We are running two Italian Pursuits, each with a team of 5 up and down the closed road.

We would like all riders to be wearing a CSP jersey for this, even if it means borrowing one for the event.

PLEASE turn up no later than 6:15pm, so that we are organised and can get going on time, we will be asked to leave the circuit after our 10 minutes slot.
