Although we concentrate on encouraging children into cycling, our aim is to develop programs to enable youth riders to go onto enjoy cycling into their adult years. As such we encourage families to join with their children, and get involved with cycling activities - and maybe racing!

Pendle's very own 2008 Olympic medalist Steven Burke (see British Cycling) is our Club Captain. Steven is a role model for our local youth riders, and a great inspiration.

Cycle Sport Pendle is registered with the British Cycling Go-Ride scheme, a programme to promote youth participation in cycling by working with local schools and other organisations. Under Go-Ride, cycling activities are run for beginners and competitive riders in a safe, controlled environment using British Cycling qualified coaches.

Learn about the different forms of cycling  - we have National and Olympic riders, present and past in Pendle as well as up and coming Pendle youth riders.
